Salisbury FCCLA Participates in Star Events

On February 1st twenty Salisbury Junior and Senior High FCCLA chapter members traveled to Atlanta High School for Region 3 FCCLA STAR   Events. Those competing from the High School chapter were Hannah Grimpo and Cambelle Parker in Food Innovations- receiving a gold and advancing to state; Morgan Saunders in Career Investigation- receiving a gold and advancing to state; Alyssa Smedley and Hannah Baalman in Life Event Planning- receiving a silver; Darion Dameron and Nigel Dameron in Illustrated Talk- receiving a silver; Katie See, Karen See, and Haley Alberson in Chapter Service Project Display- receiving a silver; and Karen See and Katie See in FCCLA Knowledge Test- receiving a gold and advancing to state. Those competing from the Junior high chapter were Rylan Stefankiewicz in Career Investigation- receiving a gold and advancing to state; Justus Yates and Maddox Stapleton in Food Innovatoins- reciving a gold and advancing to state; Ryan Cruse. Kate Kottman, and Cheri Lockard in FCCLA Knowledge test- receiving silver; Carissa Knight and Taylor Nolke in Entrepreneurship- receiving a silver, Emersyn Hammons and Adeline Emmerich in Focus on Children- receiving a bronze.

Those advancing to state will be competing at Tan-Tar-A resort in Osage Beach at FCCLA State Leadership Conference March 17-19.
