Salisbury FFA officers Hannah Baalman and Halley Marek traveled to Hobby Lobby this summer to pick out items for the yearly chapter scrapbook.
FFA members work throughout the year to cultivate gardens, cure hams, can produce, build projects and care for livestock and small animals for the Chariton County Youth Fair.
Sydney Stundebeck was one of 30 sophomores representing an FFA chapter, 4-H club or farm family selected to the Missouri Agribusiness Academy.
The Salisbury FFA Chapter worked with Virgil Henke to assist with the annual Antique Tractor Pull. Students worked in the arena by flagging tractors and helped with event setup.
SAE Visits: Salisbury FFA Advisor Ms. Breanne Brammer has conducted more than 40 on-site visits to student Supervised Agriculture Experience programs.
Students have participated in summer trap practices every Thursday from May through August at the Salisbury Trap Range. Many incoming freshman have taken advantage of the practices.

Fourteen members from the Salisbury FFA Chapter attended the State FFA Leadership Camp at Kaiser, Mo.

The Salisbury FFA Trapshooting Team hosted and competed in the Chariton County Youth Fair Jackpot Trap Meet. The team placed second overall, only losing to the first-place team by one point.

Gwen Wilkey and Halley Marek are two of the 100 freshman FFA members from across Missouri selected to attend the annual HYMAX Academy.

Halley Marek is one of 15 high school students named to the inaugural Northeast District Expo Youth Board. The board brings together highly motivated youth exhibitors throughout the northeast FFA district to help promote and organize the show.

The 2019-2020 Salisbury FFA Chapter officers took part in a two-day officer retreat. The first day included team bonding at Midway Golf and Games in Columbia. The second day included a pizza lunch and business meeting.
