News from the Supt Office

Happy Thanksgiving! and, be safe.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our students and their families.   It’s been a crazy month of November!  I hope everyone has a great, restful Thanksgiving and will look forward to getting back to start school on Monday, November 30.   Thank you for your patience and understanding with virtual learning. I hope the kids are as excited to get back to their classrooms as we are.  We really miss them and the school hallways and cafeteria just aren’t the same without them.

The staff at the elementary school has been decorating their hallways and classrooms for the holiday season.  The students at the elementary should be surprised on Monday.  Special thanks to the cooks who have been working to get meals out during the Virtual Learning Days from our elementary school.

The High School is getting ready to kick off the basketball season.  The junior high will start their games on November 30, and two other opponents on December 1st and 3rd.

The high school will start their season at the Centralia Tournament from December 7-12.  Make sure you get tickets for the games as there will be limited seating in every other row.

We will not have school on Monday and Tuesday, December 21-22.

As we navigate these challenging, ever-changing times, we count our blessings for each day we spend together at school, for the support we receive from our families and community and most importantly the students we serve.  Our staff can’t wait for the students to return .  We know the students will be excited to be back with their classmates as the winter season comes to Salisbury.

Can’t wait to see everyone on Monday. We are going to have a wonderful December!

Sincerely,

Mr.  Whiston
