The SHS Speech Team competed in the virtual district tournament hosted by Mexico High School held March 1st – 6th. Of the team’s four entries, three were sent to finals. Results are as follows: Madisyn Conway placed 1st in Dramatic Interpretation, Emmalee Wyatt placed 2nd in Prose Reading and Kathryn Kottman placed 4th in Radio Speaking. Drake Whitman also competed in Poetry Reading.
In regular competition news, Madisyn Conway placed 4th in Dramatic Interpretation in the Neosho virtual tournament held February 22nd-27th.
