NEW HIRES AT SALISBURY ELEMENTARY

Kendra Francis is the new Salisbury Elementary Art teacher for K-6.  She went into teaching to make an impact on students’ lives.  Mrs. Francis joins the SES team from the Brunswick school district.  She chose Salisbury R-IV to be closer to home and because she has always heard great things about the district.  Mrs. Francis is looking forward to a great school year, and along with teaching elementary art will be serving as the SHS Lady Panther assistant basketball coach.

Gina Bearden has joined the SES team to serve as a paraprofessional.  She made the decision to come to the Salisbury School District because she always has loved working with children.  She and her family live in the community.  Her hope is to be able to offer support and assistance to students and the staff she will be working with.

Lyndsay Moore is a second nurse for the Salisbury School District.  She is excited to have the opportunity to work close to home, to continue to work as a nurse and to get to work with kids all of which are important to her. She hopes to get to know all the kids this year.  Mrs. Moore expects to be an active part in keeping the kids healthy this school year, especially navigating around Covid.
