Panthers in the Know
“Panthers In The Know” newsletter is a summary of the Salisbury School Board meeting and is published after each regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting. This document can also be found online at the district website: www.salisbury.k12.mo.us
Board Members: Andrea Binder, Regina Boss, Chris Brown, Terry Hulett, Pam Lockard, Russ Stundebeck, Don Wyatt.
MISSION STATEMENT: “The Salisbury R-IV School District will educate and inspire students to achieve individual success.”
Public Participation at Board Meetings: Everyone is invited to attend school board meetings. Board meetings are informational and can involve written correspondence, agenda items, and public hearings. All school policies can be found on the school website: www.salisbury.k12.mo.us
Next Meeting: Tuesday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. All Board of Education meetings are held at the Salisbury Board of Education Room on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Superintendent’s Report: School roof repairs were talked about. Bio-screening is scheduled at the District Office on December 1, from 8:00-1:00. Mr. Whiston presented rough draft drawings on the Football/Track/ Concession stand.
The board of education set a work session to look at the track/football concession, restrooms, and storage areas. This work session is scheduled for Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 6:00 at the District Office
The Board of Education approved the transfer from Fund 1 to Fund 2 to remove negative balance to positive balance.
The Board of Education listened to Roofing concerns and what needs to be done. About 40% of district roofs will need to be replaced in the near future.
Troy Billue, Transportation Director, spoke on behalf of the bus drivers’ shortage of help and pay.
No School on November 24-25-26 for Thanksgiving break.
Winter Break starts on Wednesday, December 22 at 12:36. Classes will resume on Tues. January 4.
