“Panthers In The Know” newsletter is a summary of the Salisbury School Board meeting and is published after each regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting.  This document can also be found online at the district website:  www.salisbury.k12.mo.us

Board Members:   Andrea Binder, Regina Boss, Chris Brown, Terry Hulett, Pam Lockard,             Russ Stundebeck, and Don Wyatt.

MISSION STATEMENT: “The Salisbury R-IV School District will educate and inspire students to achieve individual success.”

Public Participation at Board Meetings:  Everyone is invited to attend school board meetings.  Board meetings are informational and can involve written correspondence, agenda items, and public hearings.  All school policies can be found on the school website:  www.salisbury.k12.mo.us

Special Board Meeting:  Monday, January 10, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.    Purpose of this meeting is to review the different closed bids on the Track, and set plans for moving forward to building an all-weather track to be completed in the summer of  2022.  Visitors are welcome.

Next Scheduled Board Meeting:  Tuesday,  January 18, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.   All Board of Education meetings are held at the Salisbury Board of Education Room in the Central Office on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  Visitors are welcome.

The B.O.E. approved the Salisbury R-IV School District  audit for the year ending June 30, 2021.

The Board of Education approved 2021-2022 - Smart Goal #1 for a long range facilities plan.

The Board of Education approved 2021-2022 - Smart Goal #6 Communication Plan as presented.

Jason Haines, Athletic Director shared his fall activities report on student participation and other athletic information at Salisbury.

The board of education accepted Rudy Roofing bid to do roofing of the South Gym at the Junior High School and adjoining classrooms and cafeteria.

The Board of Education  approved the District Continuity of Service plan as presented and amended.   

The board of Education moved to move all employees to meet the Missouri Federal Labor Laws minimum wage starting January 1, 2022. 

The board voted to nominate Andrew Ricketts to compete for the regional MSBA future builders Belcher scholarship.

NO STUDENT ATTENDANCE on December  23,  24, 25, 26 ,27, 28, 29, 30, 31.  January 1, 2, 3. 

Classes will resume on Tues. January 4, 2022

The Board of Education moved to set a special board meeting on track construction.  Meeting will be held at the Central Office on January 10, 2022

The Board of Education voted to adjourn the meeting at 9:56 p.m.
