Abigail Gebhardt, Emmett Gutz, Kassie Johnson, Stran Henry, Riley Graskewicz, Ethan Gutz, and Olivia Sloan represented Salisbury High School at the Future Leaders Academy last Thursday, October 17th. This event was organized by Congressman Sam Graves and was held on the campus of Missouri Western State University. Students heard inspirational presentations on leadership from various speakers, including:
- Matt Wilson, President of Missouri Western State University
- Kylee Strough, President of United Way of Greater St. Joseph
- Lt. Col. Melanie Englert, Deputy Commander of the 139th Mission Support Group, 139th Air Wing, Missouri Army National Guard, and,
- Clarence Green, Chief of University Police, Northwest Missouri State University
