The Missouri State Science Olympiad competition was held on Saturday, April 9th, at Missouri State University. Twelve Salisbury high school students competed in the competition. Team members include Gabe Haines, Andrew Ricketts, Mason Duncan, Emry Gutz, Kate Kottman, Drake Whitman, Maddox Stapleton, Savannah Wells, Davis Conway, Asa Garr, Grace Gebhardt, and Noah Hartmann.
Andrew Ricketts and Kate Kottman placed 7th in Cell Biology. Gabe Haines, Mason Duncan, and Drake Whitman placed 7th in Codebusters. Haines, Ricketts, and Kottman placed 13th in Experimental Design. Whitman and Emry Gutz placed 15th in Wright Stuff. There are over 175 teams across the state of Missouri that compete in high school Science Olympiad.
