Salisbury FCCLA members Cheri Lockard, Kaden Bertsch, and Lydea Britt, along with their advisor Lindsay Ostermann, and chaperone Hope Bottomley traveled to San Diego, CA for the FCCLA National Leadership Conference on June 29- July 3. The theme of the conference was "Make it Count". While there members really made their time count by competing in STAR Events, attending leadership sessions, and enjoying some sightseeing. Cheri Lockard and Kaden Bertsch competed in the Food Innovations STAR event receiving a silver medal. Lydea Britt competed in the Entrepreneurship STAR event receiving a gold medal and making it on stage to be recognized as one of the top ten.
