BTC State Softball Donation

BTC Bank & Affiliated Nonprofit, BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp., Show Support for Salisbury High School Softball Team with Donations Ahead of Final Four Game

BTC Bank - headquartered out of Bethany, MO - recently acquired Salisbury's Merchants and Farmers Bank. Community advocacy is at the heart of the BTC company culture, a value shared with its affiliated nonprofit, BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. (BTC AYBC). Together, BTC Bank and BTC AYBC sought to award a local athletic triumph the Salisbury High School softball team earned.

The lady panthers recently advanced into the MSHSAA State Championships after taking home the win at the October 22nd State Quarterfinal game. This team of outstanding female athletes embodies hard work, perseverance, and allegiance to the sport and one another. BTC Bank and BTC AYBC felt they deserved all the financial support they could get as they embark on their journey to the Final Four this Friday, October 28th.

A set of donations was recently presented to the all-star team in the amounts of $750 (BTC Bank) and $500 (BTC AYBC). Pictured in the check presentation photo are (from left to right): Wade Billington (SHS Principal), Emily Frey (Branch Coordinator, BTC Bank), Nate King (Head Softball Coach), Aaron Carter (Vice President, BTC Bank), and Jason Haines (Athletic Director).

BTC Bank and BTC AYBC feel incredibly grateful to now be an additional pillar of support to the youth, farmers, businesses, and families in the welcoming community of Salisbury. We can't wait to cheer this team on as they fight for that coveted #1 title. Go, Lady Panthers!
