
Greenhouse students are evaluating soil content to have an understanding of what types of soils plants need to thrive.


Salisbury Jr. High students are focusing on plant cells. The last two days students have been learning the parts of the cell and creating a paper model.

Due to shortage of bus drivers today bus 12 will ride with bus 11. This might cause some students arrival time home to be a little bit later.

Industrial Power & Energy students are working on constructing a crane for use in the metal shop. The crane will be placed on wheels to make it portable throughout the shop area.




The XC meet scheduled for Tuesday , 9/5/23, will now start at 5:00 pm in Chillicothe due to predicted high temperatures.

For those fans attending the Hallsville HS Softball Tournament Sat, 8/26/23, are asked to please park in the parking lots near the field and NOT on the street. There is an extensive construction project going on and those parking in the street will be subject to a ticket.

The HS Football game vs Father Tolton on Friday, Aug 25, will now start at 8:00 pm due to predicted extreme weather.

Salisbury R-IV students riding the bus home at the end of the day will be provided a bottle of water today through Friday to help with the heat.

Due to the extreme heat changing practice times this week, we will not be having the Meet the Panther Night on Thursday, Aug 24, so that teams can have practices during cooler weather.
