SES 5th Grade has been busy reading Thunder Rolling in the Mountains and was able to participate in a Google Meet with Joyce McFarland, an Education Manager for the Nez Perce Indian tribe! Ms. McFarland is a tribe member and shared information on the tribe’s past lifestyle and culture compared to present day. Important historical figures and landmarks mentioned in our book were also explained. After the presentation was over, students stated “That was awesome!” and “Mrs. Bertsch, you need to have her speak every year!” #ShineSES #PantherPRIDE

Sixteen Salisbury FCCLA members attended the FCCLA Region 3 Meeting at Truman State University on October 24, 2023. The theme of the meeting was "We're All in this Together with FCCLA". Members enjoyed a great speaker and networking with other FCCLA members.

Senior Parent Night for Football, XC, Girls Golf, and Band will take place at the Football game Friday, 10/20, BEFORE the game. We will need parents and athletes to meet at the press box at 6:30 pm. We will begin announcing at 6:40 pm.
