Due to the forecast for Sat, the Sectional track meet will have a rolling start to all field events. Schedule format will remain the same -but when one Class/Gender finishes we will move to the next section. There will be a 30 min warmup prior to start of next field event. Running events schedule will follow what was previously sent out.
The HS District Baseball Game on Monday, May 17, will be played at 6:30 pm. This is a time change from the original bracket.
Spectators planning on attending the Boys State Golf Championship on Mon, May 17 & Tues May 18, must purchase your tickets in advance on the MSHSAA website. Also, you must purchase a ticket for each day.
Today 2nd grade harvested the lettuce and spinach they grew in the courtyard. They have donated their crop to the kitchen where it will be used to provide a salad to go along with the students’ pizza lunch tomorrow. #ShineSES PantherPRIDE #overcomers

The SHS Senior Awards and Graduation will be live streamed. We are not limiting the number of guests allowed, but wanted to provide this option for those wishing to watch from home. We will send out the video link for these events on the day they occur.

Due to wet field conditions at Harrisburg, tonight’s HS BB games will now be played at Home, city park, starting at 5:00.
Due to the weather forecast, the following changes will be in place for District Track on Sat, May 8.
Field Events
9am - Girls Javelin
10am - Boys PV, Girls HJ, Boys Shot Put, Girls Discus, Girls TJ, Boys LJ
These events will start at their scheduled time. When the event worker has 2 athletes remaining - we will begin 1st Call for the next Gender. We will still provide the 30min warmup time. But then we will start the next gender sooner than the original schedule.
Running Events
3200 will stay as scheduled - Along with the Scheduled Break. At 11:15 we will start the Girls 4x800 -(Rolling Schedule from this point until 200) When Girls 200 finishes its last heat - the press box will start a timer for 30min. When that timer goes off we will begin the Girls 4x400.

Senior Parent Night for athletes in Track, Boys Golf, and Baseball will take place on Thursday, May 6, at the HS Baseball game vs Brookfield. Recognition will take place at the conclusion of the Varsity game and before the JV Game.
