Working in partnership with parents to provide open communication and ensure the safety of all students, I wanted to inform you of an event that has occurred recently. We received a report that there is an anonymous account on twitter that is cyberbullying some of our students. Administration immediately started interviewing students and reported the account to Twitter and the police. We ask that parents talk with their children and remind them that participating in these hateful online polls is also a form of cyberbullying. Any students that are found to have a part in creating this account or participating in the polls are not only subject to school discipline, but are subject to charges with the police department as well. Please encourage your children to report it to twitter, stop following it, and shut it down if they have made it! Providing a safe and secure learning environment is of top priority to the Salisbury School District, and we take these incidents very seriously.
Several students and parents notified us of this online harassment. We appreciate you reaching out and informing us immediately. We need to continue to work together to maintain an environment where students are free to focus on learning. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any information about this situation.

Float Day Clarification! We have had some questions regarding the Senior picnic and float building at the park. This is ONLY for Seniors. Students that choose not to come to school tomorrow are not allowed to go to the park and be with the Seniors.

Float Day is this Thursday! High School Students will work on class floats and Junior High Students will do in-class activities. Students may opt out if they don't feel comfortable coming to school that day. Please have a parent call to let us know that they'll be staying home.
The SHS Homecoming Dance will be this Friday, Sept. 25 immediately following the football game until 11pm in the South Gym. Only Salisbury High School students will be permitted. Price will be $3 for students and $5 for couples. Hope to see you there!
