Big things are happening in our business department! We just leveled up with a Roland large format printer and are ready to offer customized printing services for our community. We have currently been working on banners for Parks and Rec, as well as individual banners, and banners for graduation. Need a custom banner for your team, club, event, or graduation party? Our FBLA chapter attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference on Sunday, April 13 - Tuesday, April 15. 37 students qualified for the state conference in a variety of events from objective tests, role play events, and presentations. Each member was up against 40-100 competitors from across the state in the events. 21 of our members qualified for the final round of competition, placing them in the top 15 in the state. 18 of our members made it onto the Awards of Excellence stage placing in the top 10 in the state. Our chapter also brought home two state champions. Those members/teams placing in the top 4 will move on to the National Leadership Conference which will be held in Anaheim, California on June 29-July 2. Congratulations to all of our FBLA members for their achievements!

Students attended Boone Health’s Shadow Day on Thursday, April 17th. Students were able to get hands-on experiences in units throughout the hospitals including imaging, OR, cardiology, and more!

he Salisbury Scholar Bowl team competed in district tournament play on Saturday, April 12th. The team placed second, losing in the championship round 280-240 to New Franklin.
Chance Fischer earned first place on the all-tournament team with an average of 90 points per game.
